My results disappeared

If your test results or progress are no longer showing, it is almost always a browser storage issue.

Why this happens

In V1, all your results are stored in your browser's localStorage — not on a server. This means:

Clearing your browser history or cookies will erase your data
Using a different browser or device will show an empty dashboard
Private/Incognito mode does not save data between sessions
Some browsers automatically clear site data after a period of inactivity

Can I recover my results?

Unfortunately, if localStorage was cleared, there is no way to recover previous results. The data was never sent to our servers.

How to protect your data going forward

Always use the same browser and device for IELTSprep
Do not use Incognito/Private mode
Do not clear site data or cookies for designwithme.org

A cloud sync feature (user accounts) is planned for a future version. Until then, your data is local to your browser.
