If audio does not play during a Listening test, try the following steps in order.
Make sure your system volume is on and not muted. Also check that the browser tab is not muted (right-click the tab to check).
IELTSprep works best in Chrome and Firefox. Some audio features may not work correctly in Safari.
Some browsers block audio from playing automatically. In Chrome: click the lock icon in the address bar → Site settings → Sound → Allow.
If audio stops mid-section, reload the page. Your answers may not be saved, so note your progress first.
If none of the above work, try on a different device or browser. If the problem persists, contact us.
